Grenache grape wines
Grenache produces rich, flavorful red wines and a deep rosé with ruby highlights. The French elevated this grape variety to the status of master in the south of the Rhône valley to make the prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape . It is also widely used in the south of France for the production of rosé but its country of origin is actually Spain!
It is its unique taste of candied fruit and cinnamon and tobacco that gives Grenache its characteristics. They are often rich in alcohol and full-bodied in the mouth with a relatively light color. Grenache is delicious!
