Nestled in the heart of Cafayate, in the Calchaquíes valleys of Salta, the Pequeñas Fermentaciones Garnacha cuvée comes from vineyards perched at an altitude of 1,750 meters. The temperature range between bright days and cool nights promotes a gradual ripening of the grapes, giving them aromatic intensity and natural freshness. The gravelly and sandy soil, not very fertile, provides ideal drainage and gives the Grenache an identity marked by the purity and elegance of the Andean terroir.

The vinification is based on careful manual harvesting, followed by spontaneous fermentation carried out with indigenous yeasts. A proportion of whole, uncrushed bunches (25%) is retained to obtain greater aromatic complexity. Once finished, the wine benefits from 6 months of aging in vats, without passing through wood , in order to preserve the aroma and fruit of Grenache in its frank version. Then, it is blended, clarified, stabilized and then bottled.

This wine reveals aromas of garriguette strawberry , crunchy cherry , raspberry, red berries, blackberry, thyme and white pepper . The palate is vibrant and airy , with a supple and juicy texture. The balance between intense fruit and freshness illustrates the finesse of this high-altitude cuvée.
