Rosé wine is a wine produced from red grapes whose fermentation is interrupted after a short maceration time, which allows the pale pink color characteristic of this type of wine to be preserved. Rosé wine can be produced in many wine regions around the world and can be made from different grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Sangiovese and Pinot Noir. Rosé wine is often light and fresh, with fruity and floral aromas, and can be served at cool temperatures. It is often eaten on sunny days, as an aperitif or with light dishes.

When the sun comes out, there's nothing like a good rosé wine to accompany a delicious outdoor meal. Rosés offer a wide variety of food and wine pairings, ranging from grilled meats to seafood dishes. Dry rosés pair well with light salads, vegetable pastas or even pizzas, while more fruity rosés are perfect to accompany spicy dishes or sushi. To make a rosé wine, there are two vinification methods.
- The first is the bleeding or maceration method, where the skins and juices are macerated together for a short period, thus giving a more intense color and greater power in the mouth.
- The second is the direct pressing method, where the juice is obtained directly after pressing the grapes. This method of vinification is similar to the production of white wine and makes it possible to obtain fruity and light rosé wines, with a clear and crystalline color.
