Gonzalo Guzman

With a background in agricultural engineering and his experience at Viña El Principal, Gonzalo Guzmán founded his personal project in 2018. Based in the Maipo Valley at an altitude of 750 meters, he cultivates 15 hectares using sustainable agriculture , on clay, granite and sandy soils. His range includes sophisticated and complex vintages that illustrate the diversity and richness of Chilean terroirs. Gonzalo relies on precise vinification, often with indigenous yeasts and aging on lees, in order to preserve freshness and typicity. Since 2023, he has also collaborated with Itata producers, revealing exceptional vintages from old vines. His philosophy is based on the promotion of indigenous grape varieties and the search for a balance between fruit, minerality and complexity. Today, Gonzalo Guzmán is considered a rising star in Chilean artisanal wine, renowned for his high standards and elegant style.
