Let's talk little, let's talk wine

product descriptions logo

The Limoncello from Maison Brandini is a syrupy digestif liqueur originating from Naples in Campania. It is made from lemon zest sourced from certified organic growers in Corsica or Sicily. On tasting, the meticulous extraction of the lemons' essential oils into wine alcohol reveals an authentic flavour in which acidity and gentle bitterness are perfectly balanced. Kept in the freezer, this digestif fully releases its aromas when chilled.

Its bright yellow hue is the result of specific production methods designed to create the ouzo effect, which gives limoncello its slightly cloudy appearance. This colour remains stable over time because the drink is left unfiltered to preserve all its aromatic richness.

With an alcohol content of 31.5% ABV, this limoncello can be enjoyed neat at the end of a meal as a digestif. It also works brilliantly in all kinds of desserts and inventive cocktails. For the ideal tasting experience, we recommend drinking this Limoncello within six months of opening (that shouldn't be too hard), when the lemon essences are at their most expressive.

The little history of the country

France

France, home of Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne, is undoubtedly the most important wine producing country in the world. For centuries, it produced wine in greater quantities than any other country. Wine is ingrained in French culture at almost every level of society; it is the drink of the elite and the common people, and a key symbol of Roman Catholicism, the majority religion in France. The diversity of French wines is due, in large part, to the country's wide variety of climates.
