Malma

In the heart of Argentine Patagonia , the Malma estate tells a family story that began in 1975 with Julio Viola. After years of dedicated arboriculture, the first vines were planted in 1999 in the Neuquén region, marking the estate's viticultural turning point. Since 2012, Ana Viola, the founder's daughter, has been running the estate and continuing the adventure with passion and dynamism. The 129 hectares of vineyard are cultivated organically , at an altitude of 300 meters, on gravelly and sandy soils swept by the cold Patagonian winds. This semi-arid continental climate gives the wines a unique freshness and great aromatic precision. Malma is particularly renowned for its Pinot Noir and Malbec , but also for its Chardonnay and Family Reserve cuvées. The Viola family's philosophy is based on excellence, respect for biodiversity and the development of an extreme terroir. Today, Malma has established itself as an essential ambassador for Patagonian wines, combining tradition and modernity.
