Discovery wine is not cheap wine
The temptation with an entry-level box is to fill it with what's cheap. We do the opposite: a low-priced wine must be more understandable than the others, not worse. It has a specific mission: to teach something to the person drinking it.
Specifically, we rule out technically impeccable but unremarkable wines, and overly verbose wines that overwhelm an unseasoned palate. This leaves a narrow category: clean, expressive wines, where you can identify what you're tasting by the second glass.

Who is the Adventurer's Box for?
To those just starting out, or to those who have been drinking wine for a long time without ever trying to put words to the experience. The cuvées are chosen for their clarity: you should be able to name what you smell without having had any training.
Do you need to be a wine connoisseur to enjoy it?
No, and that's the starting point for this range. Each bottle comes with its own fact sheet: the estate, serving temperature, what to look for on the nose and palate, and what food to pair it with.
What's the difference between this and the Grand Voyageur Box?
The level of the cuvées and what is expected of the taster. The Baroudeur prefers clean and expressive wines; the Grand Voyageur looks for more complex terroirs, which require a bit of experience to be appreciated.
What's the difference between "Red" and "Mix"?
"Red" contains only red wines, month after month. "Mix" mixes the colors according to the selection: a red and a white, sometimes a rosé or an orange depending on the season and the available vintages.
Does the box automatically renew?
No. You pay for the chosen duration, from one to six months, in a single payment when you place your order. At the end of this period, nothing will be automatically renewed: it's up to you to reorder if you wish.
