Originating from the steep slopes of Charrat, on the right bank of the Rhône in Valais, this Pinot Noir comes from steep, south- to southwest-facing terraces, benefiting from abundant sunshine and drying winds. The vines are planted in stony, morainic, poor, and well-drained soils, which promote limited yields and high concentration. Nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps, this mountain vineyard enjoys significant temperature variations between day and night, preserving the freshness of the fruit and the mineral character typical of the Charrat terroir.

This wine reveals notes of red and black fruits, violet , sweet spices , and delicately toasted wood , complemented by a mineral touch reminiscent of the stony soils of Charrat. The palate is precise, with a silky texture, fresh acidity that lengthens the profile, fine yet present tannins, and a persistent, elegant finish marked by a return of fruit and a subtle salinity characteristic of this mountain terroir.
