revancha-la-revancha-malbec-argentine
Revancha - La Revancha Malbec - 2022

Revancha means “revenge” in Spanish. The name of this bodega is steeped in history: it is revenge on the life of its creator Roberto de la Mota who almost lost it in a road accident. This cuvée composed mainly of Malbec comes from vines near the magnificent town of Altamira, at 1,040 meters above sea level, in the heart of the impressive Uco Valley , currently considered the best terroir in Mendoza. The harvest is done by hand in small boxes so that the grapes do not crush under their weight. Fermentation takes place in small vats followed by a long maceration of 21 days. Then, 50% of the wine is returned to oak barrels of 1st, 2nd and 3rd use to remain there for a total of 12 months . This wine presents aromas of ripe fruits such as black plum , blackberry , strawberry , black cherry , blackcurrant but also notes of black pepper , violet , licorice and sweet caramel . The palate is fruity and has a velvety, fleshy and delicate texture. The tannins are opulent and the acidity gives the wine freshness as well as a beautiful aromatic persistence.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0284/0032/0643/products/Revancha-RevanchaMalbec-Argentine.jpg?v=1652170479
