Luca Ferraris today runs the winery with 34 hectares planted in the heart of Castagnole Monferrato. Luca's ambition has since taken the family business to new heights.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eThis wine is made entirely from \u003cstrong\u003eViognier\u003c\/strong\u003e grapes planted in 2006 on clay soils and red sand. Today it is the only Piedmontese white made from this grape variety. Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats after gentle pressing of the grapes. The resulting wine then matures on its fine lees for a few months. To keep the aromas fresh, weekly stirring is carried out to mix the lees with the wine in order to avoid oxidation. It will then rest in the bottle for 3 months. The wine reveals notes of \u003cstrong\u003egreen apple\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003ewhite peach\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003ehoneysuckle\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003epear\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003ecitrus zest\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003eminerals\u003c\/strong\u003e . The palate is round and fluid at the same time, superbly balanced by the acidity and salinity of the wine.
