Situated along the Rhine, the deep gravelly loam, loess and thick marl soils of the \u003cstrong\u003e\"Erbacher Michelmark\" terroir\u003c\/strong\u003e create a dense, multi-layered Riesling with bright fruit and minerality. This wine is made mainly from Riesling grapes picked in \u003cstrong\u003elate harvest\u003c\/strong\u003e . These grapes have therefore reached a higher level of maturity, indicated in German by the term \"spätlese\". In the vineyard, there is therefore precise work to select the bunches. The juice is delicately pressed, fermented at low temperature in stainless steel vats and followed by a long aging on fine lees to provide substance to the wine. On the palate, we immediately sense the brightness of the Riesling carried by aromas of \u003cstrong\u003egreen apples\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003eyellow peach\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003eapricot\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003eMirabelle\u003c\/strong\u003e plum, \u003cstrong\u003ecitrus peel\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003edried flowers\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003eflint\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003epetroleum\u003c\/strong\u003e .
