The grapes come from the high, well-ventilated areas of La Morera and Damunt Roca, between 320 and 450 metres above sea level. The vines grow there in terraces on llicorella, a rare slate that gives the wine liveliness and a balsamic character.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe vineyard, made up of old vines, notably Grenache, is farmed organically and biodynamically. Grenache, Carignan and Syrah are vinified with measured extraction during maceration, to obtain a juicy, fresh wine with fine tannins. Ageing then takes place for 15 months in large oak vats (foudres), which respect the purity of the fruit.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis wine reveals notes of \u003cstrong\u003echerry\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003ewild berries\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eraspberry\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eblackberry\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eliquorice\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003ebalsamic notes\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003egarrigue\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003epepper\u003c\/strong\u003e. The palate is juicy and well balanced, with soft tannins and lovely freshness.
