Founded in 1882, the Reserva de Los Andes house farms in particular the Las Margaritas vineyard, trained on high pergolas on deep, stony silty-sandy soils. The Malbec vines stand at about 650 metres above sea level, in a hot, very sunny climate, with traditional furrow irrigation fed by water from the Andes, which promotes even ripening of the grapes.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe grapes, carefully selected and harvested ripe, are vinified with a clear aim: to preserve the aroma precursors of Malbec. Winemaking therefore takes place at low temperature. After fermentation, the wine is clarified and then stabilised so as to reach the bottle as quickly as possible and retain all the freshness of its fruit. This approach highlights the varietal expression and brightness of a young, indulgent Malbec.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis wine reveals notes of \u003cstrong\u003eplum\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eblack cherry\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eblackberry\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eblueberry\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eviolet\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eliquorice\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eblack pepper\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003ecocoa\u003c\/strong\u003e. The clean, varietal nose is dominated by fresh dark-fleshed fruit, with a floral touch. The palate is supple and fruity, beautifully fresh, with soft, round tannins.
