This area, located north of the Ebro Valley, benefits from the combined influence of Atlantic and continental climates, resulting in cool nights and a slow ripening of the grapes. The plots, planted on well-drained clay-limestone and alluvial soils, offer an ideal environment to express the finesse and elegance of this historic Rioja grape variety.

The Garnacha grapes destined for Pancrudo are hand-harvested from high-altitude plots in Badarán, then sorted before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with maceration designed to preserve the fruit and finesse. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged primarily in French oak barrels of varying sizes, supplemented by inert containers (such as concrete or stainless steel) to maintain aromatic purity and freshness, while also imparting a silky structure and added complexity.

This wine reveals notes of crisp red fruits like raspberry and strawberry, enhanced by floral touches reminiscent of violet and peony, as well as delicate spicy nuances of white pepper and licorice.
