Paraje Mina 2024

Located in the heart of the Salnés Valley in Galicia, the Paraje Mina vineyard belongs to the Nanclares y Prieto estate, based in Ribadumia, near Cambados. The vines, planted primarily on traditional pergolas, are rooted in very poor, sandy granite soils close to the Atlantic Ocean. This cool, breezy terroir, strongly influenced by sea spray, gives the wine a taut, saline character, emblematic of the Rías Baixas appellation and, more specifically, the coastal area of ​​Val do Salnés.

Produced using traditional viticulture methods, this white wine is made from hand-harvested grapes, carefully sorted both in the vineyard and at the winery. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts, without the addition of enzymes or unnecessary oenological products, in order to preserve the purest expression of the terroir. The wine is aged for an extended period on its fine lees in neutral containers, with minimal intervention and racking, before being bottled with little or no filtration, respecting the aromatic integrity and natural tension of the wine.

This wine reveals notes of ripe citrus , stone fruit , and green apple , complemented by touches of white flowers , a saline minerality , and subtle herbaceous accents. The palate is precise, driven by lively acidity , a chiseled texture, and a saline structure that extends the finish, offering an impression of great freshness and length without heaviness.
