Greywacke

Kevin Judd is one of the pioneers who have helped put New Zealand wines on the international map. In 2009, he founded his own winery, Greywacke , named after the sandstone that makes up the soils of the vineyards along the Wairau River . Based in the Omaka Valley , Kevin Judd, along with a small, passionate team, produces refined and complex wines made from Sauvignon Blanc , Chardonnay and Pinot Noir , carefully selected from the best terroirs in the region. He takes a hands-off approach, seeking to preserve the identity and authenticity of the fruit in each of his wines.
