Located in the Yarra Valley, northeast of Melbourne in the state of Victoria, the Yarra Yering vineyard benefits from a cool, temperate climate, ideal for the delicate expression of Pinot Noir. The vines are planted in ancient soils, predominantly gravelly and clay-loam, which ensure good drainage and naturally limit yields. Nestled at the foot of the Warramate Mountains, the estate enjoys cool nights and moderate days, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly and preserving the wine's elegance, aromatic finesse, and natural freshness.

The Pinot Noir grapes are harvested by hand, sorted, and destemmed before fermentation in small open vats, with manual punch-downs for gentle extraction. Malolactic fermentation then takes place in oak barrels, where the wine is aged to refine its texture and preserve the varietal's aromatic elegance, before bottling at the estate.

This wine reveals notes of red fruit , black cherry , and plum , complemented by floral nuances of violet and peony , as well as spicy touches of sweet pepper and clove . Subtle oak accents of cedar and sweet spices mingle with a slightly earthy character. On the palate, the texture is silky, supported by fresh acidity, fine, polished tannins, and a long, precise, and harmonious finish.
