The grapes come from vineyards located in \u003cstrong\u003ePatagonia\u003c\/strong\u003e , approximately halfway between the Andes Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. Located at 39° south latitude, exposure to the sun is more intense than in the more northern regions of the country, but at this latitude, the nights are much colder. This daily temperature range is excellent for the production of quality grapes because nighttime cooling prolongs the ripening period, allowing the grapes to develop good varietal characteristics while maintaining balanced acidity. The wine is made from \u003cstrong\u003elow yielding\u003c\/strong\u003e 50 year \u003cstrong\u003eold vines\u003c\/strong\u003e (only 4000 bottles) and are grown naturally according to the principles of organic farming. A lot of work goes into the harvest because everything is carefully picked by hand, sorted and selected. The wine ferments naturally then ages for an additional \u003cstrong\u003e8 months\u003c\/strong\u003e \u003cstrong\u003ein French oak\u003c\/strong\u003e before being bottled without filtration. This wine presents a range of complex aromas of \u003cstrong\u003ewild red fruits\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003ered cherry\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003eredcurrant\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003eblueberry\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003eraspberry\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003edried strawberries\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003ered flowers\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003etea leaves\u003c\/strong\u003e , \u003cstrong\u003epepper\u003c\/strong\u003e as well as subtle mineral notes.
