Coast of Nights
The Côte de Nuits, stretching approximately 20 kilometers from the south of Dijon to Corgoloin, is the beating heart of the production of some of the world's most prestigious red wines, mainly made from Pinot Noir.
Côte de Nuits wines are renowned for their aromatic intensity, their complex structure and their remarkable ability to age thanks to the perfect balance between acidity and tannins. Appellations like Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée and Chambolle-Musigny are names that thrill the hearts of connoisseurs and collectors of great wines.
The soil of the Côte de Nuits is a geological patchwork of limestone and clay, enriched with marl, which gives the wines a distinct minerality. The exposure of the vineyards, mainly east-facing, ideally captures the sunlight, thus contributing to the optimal maturity of the grapes.
