The Rennina plots surround the ancient Santa Restituta church and benefit from varied exposures on well-ventilated hillsides. The soils are mainly composed of clay-limestone marl mixed with pebbles and sand, offering natural drainage and good water retention. This terroir, at a moderate altitude and influenced by a temperate Mediterranean climate, promotes slow and steady grape ripening.

Made from vines located around the Santa Restituta church, this wine is crafted from hand-harvested grapes, carefully sorted before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with extended maceration to extract aromatic finesse and tannic structure. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels for a long period, then refined in the bottle to harmonize the texture, refine the tannins, and fully reveal the expression of the Montalcino terroir.

This wine unveils notes of black cherry, plum, and ripe red fruits, complemented by floral touches of violet and dried rose.
