The vines, around twenty years old, are planted on the Kimmeridgian terroir, the Jurassic marls and limestones rich in fossilised oysters. The semi-continental climate, with cold winters and temperate summers, ensures slow ripening of the Chardonnay, which keeps tension, freshness and mineral depth.

The plot is farmed biodynamically and work in the cellar follows the rhythm of the planetary cycle. The grapes are pressed gently in a pneumatic press, then ferment without any commercial yeast. The wine is then aged for ten months, during which malolactic fermentation is completed. This approach, keeping intervention to a minimum, lets the purity of the fruit and the mineral signature of the Kimmeridgian terroir shine through.

This wine reveals notes of white flowers, acacia, fresh almond, lemon, grapefruit, pear, white peach and chalk.
