The vines stretch across a very steep slope, at nearly 300 metres above sea level. This fine sun exposure gives the wine roundness and fruit, while the Jurassic marls and limestones and the semi-continental climate preserve the Chardonnay's freshness and tension.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn the cellar, the Brocard house favours gravity transfers, from receiving the harvest through to settling, without pumping. Fermentations are carried out with native yeasts and monitored daily by tasting and analysis. The wine is then aged on its lees, without unnecessary intervention, in the vessel chosen according to its potential, stainless-steel tank or large oak vat (foudre). The nose combines the freshness of citrus with aniseed and floral nuances, completed by sun-drenched yellow fruit.
