Grain Pinot Les Esserts 2023

The Grain Pinot Les Esserts comes from the terraced slopes of Fully, in the heart of Valais, on the right bank of the Rhône. The vines are planted in poor, well-drained schist and morainic soils, which promote slow and complete ripening of the grapes. The vineyard, facing due south and sheltered by the surrounding mountains, benefits from abundant sunshine and regular winds that preserve freshness. This combination of alpine climate and Mediterranean influences gives the wine its precise character, finesse, and a very pure expression of Pinot Noir.

This wine reveals notes of ripe red fruits , such as cherry and raspberry , complemented by floral touches of peony and violet , as well as subtle spicy nuances reminiscent of pepper and nutmeg . Delicately oaked and lightly smoky accents add complexity, while a subtly mineral structure underscores the freshness.
