The vines are grown on the slopes of the hinterland, where altitude and sea breezes temper the Mediterranean heat. Xynisteri, the island's indigenous white grape variety, keeps its freshness and liveliness here. The Kamanterena winery, nestled between the villages of Stroumbi and Polemi in the heart of the mountain vineyards, belongs to SODAP, a cooperative founded in 1947 by Cypriot winegrowers.

The Xynisteri grapes are harvested at full ripeness in the villages of the Paphos region, then brought to the Kamanterena winery, which has modern winemaking equipment. The wine follows classic white-wine vinification, with tank fermentation conducted so as to preserve the primary aromas and natural freshness of the grape variety. This style of winemaking highlights the brightness of the fruit and the liveliness of a Mediterranean white designed to be enjoyed in its youth.

This wine reveals notes of green apple, banana, lemon, grapefruit, pear, melon, white flowers and fresh grass.
